Peerless™ Introduces Aptitude™

Peerless™ today introduced Aptitude™, a configurable linear lighting system that expands the possibilities of architectural lighting design. Designed to move beyond traditional straight runs, Aptitude enables designers to create continuous lines of light that meet the unique demands of a space while maintaining a cohesive visual language.

Aptitude combines straight sections, horizontal and vertical curves, highway connections, and pivoting elements within a single system. This enables lines of light to change direction, transition between planes, and connect multiple areas while maintaining visual continuity.

Distinctive side grooves expand the system beyond conventional linear layouts by supporting a range of connection strategies, including converging runs with curves and highway connection, angular transitions with single- or dual- pivot, closed forms, and geometric configurations.

With Aptitude, straight runs deliver clean, high-quality illumination where focus is required, curves and pivots help guide movement and organize environments, and closed forms create focal points for gathering areas and collaborative settings.

The system also incorporates patent-pending gradient dimming technology, which individually controls each diode to deliver smooth transitions without the visible stepping or banding commonly associated with traditional selection-based dimming.

Aptitude offers a wide range of aperture sizes, mounting options, optics, and controls to support diverse architectural applications. Multiple finishes, end-cap styles, and configurable details make it easy to tailor both performance and appearance to each space.
